Building on UK Rail Engagement in Peru and Chile
Digital Transit Ltd recently completed a trade mission to Peru and Chile where leadership presented the company's flagship safety and cybersecurity technologies to regional infrastructure stakeholders. The initiative, organized by the UK Department for Business and Trade from June 30–July 4, 2025, positioned DTL's solutions within Latin America's expanding rail modernization efforts.
Key Technologies Presented
CEO Howard Parkinson showcased two primary offerings:
CyRail® — An operational technology cybersecurity platform aligned with TS 50701 and IEC 63452 standards, designed to strengthen compliance across metro, freight, and passenger rail systems.
RAPORS — An AI-enabled assessment system for safety-critical software that automates safety-critical software assessment and compliance checks, potentially reducing safety case documentation timeframes by approximately 40%.
Market Relevance
Both solutions address specific infrastructure challenges in Peru and Chile, where rail systems require enhanced operational resilience and regulatory adherence. The technologies are undergoing pilot evaluations in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the UK.
Future Plans
DTL intends to return in October 2025 for additional discussions centered on critical infrastructure cybersecurity, alongside other UK technology innovators.
